Trey Taulbee

George Kamel was one of the featured singer-songwriters at the “Listening Room” event held at the University of Mobile in Mobile, AL on November 11, 2011. Hailing from Boston, MA; Kamel made his way to the University of Mobile in the spring of 2010 to study Communication. He is a self-proclaimed “renaissance man” and tinkers with writing, designing, filming and ebay-ing. For this month’s Artist Spotlight, Kamel discusses the importance of thematic songwriting and taking listeners to another place through the “vibe” of a song.
